TDRA Round 2 Projects

In 2008, the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council began the participation and coordination process for the Texas Department of Rural Affairs 2008 Supplemental Disaster Recovery Fund. 
Effective July 1, 2011, the CDBG Disaster Recover;y Program has transferred to the Texas GLO from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) and the Texas Department of Rural Affairs (TDRA).  In 2008, the LRGVDC was given the responsibility of developing the Region's Method of Distribution (MOD) for Disaster Recovery Round One Funding ($55,000,000.)  For second allocation (Round 2), the maximum amount of funds that was to be allocated through this partial MOD (Phase I Partial MOD) was capped at 33 percent of the total Rouond 2 allocation not to exceed $185,515,915.
